UNESCO General Director congratulated the 103th Universal Esperanto Congress

Below is the greeting message from General Director of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay.

UNESCO recommeded Esperanto as the international language since 1954.

The 1985 resolution urged all NGOs in the world to use Esperanto.

The United Nations World Tourism Organization also passed the Declaration 1980 in Manila urged the tourism industry to use Esperanto in order to have better and effective management.

If the tourism industry and NGOs respected the resolution, the misunderstanding of language in Spain will be avoided and a young life is saved.
